Susan Korstad

Patient Partner

Sue Korstad is a sepsis survivor who has worked with the research cluster as a patient partner since our launch workshop in the spring of 2019. Formally a Team Manager for Nursing Services at the BC Ministry of Health, her input as helped the cluster prioritize post-sepsis care and continued to guide our advocacy efforts. Read her full sepsis story here.

In May 2021, I also shared my sepsis story with researchers at UBC's Centre for Blood Research. A recording of the presentation can be viewed here.
