Seroprevalence of SARS-CoV-2 among African Canadians: Clinical and Epidemiological Correlates

The objectives of this study are:

  • To determine the seroprevalence of COVID-19 infection among a population of African Canadians compared with seroprevalence rates in other populations in Canada.
  • To determine the extent to which serological evidence of infection is associated with the presence of neutralizing antibodies.
  • To examine the relationship between serological evidence of infection and medical comorbidities as well as socio-demographic variables.
  • To determine the sustainability of seropositivity and neutralizing antibodies over a period of 24 months after the baseline determination of infection by serology.
