Action on Sepsis Workshop

May 6, 2019, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

BC Children's Hospital Research Institute Chieng Family Atrium, Room 2108

We know that sepsis is a complex syndrome that cannot be addressed by a single medical discipline, or by targeting only the biomedical community. Preventing and mitigating its burden is not possible without addressing the many determinants of the condition, which will require a multi-disciplinary, multi-dimensional strategy. On May 6th, 2019, Action on Sepsis will host a workshop that that aims to bring together researchers, stakeholders, patients and other experts to collaborate in the field of sepsis.

This will include:

  • Identifying high impact research projects and collaborations
  • Potential funding opportunities
  • Breaking down barriers in sepsis research

We are encouraging people who were patients, families, caregivers, or others with lived experience of sepsis to attend and help define and direct research priorities that are important to them.

If you would like to attend the workshop in person please contact teresa.johnson@cw.bc.ca

To join the workshop by videoconference please register here.
