World Sepsis Day 2024

Every year on September 13, individuals and organizations worldwide come together to educate and inform communities about the importance of early recognition and treatment of sepsis. Join over 7,000 facilities and organizations worldwide by hosting your own event.

This year, cities and landmarks around BC will continue to show their support for World Sepsis Day by lighting up in PINK (the official color of World Sepsis Day). This includes:

Action on Sepsis operates on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples — xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We invite everyone to reflect on the traditional territories and land that they currently work and live on.
