Mia Sheehan

Cluster Coordinator

Mia is a project coordinator for Action on Sepsis and the Pediatric Sepsis Data CoLaboratory (Sepsis CoLab). After receiving her Masters in Public Health from Simon Fraser University, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Global Health. Her research focused on exploring the impacts of engaging with Patient Advisory Councils on sepsis survivors and their families.

Action on Sepsis operates on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples — xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. We invite everyone to reflect on the traditional territories and land that they currently work and live on.
